Rosie the Riveter was aimed at recruiting female workers for defense industries during World War II. Since the campaign in the 40s, Rosie has stood for women's independence and a place for women in the workforce. She became perhaps the most iconic image of working women. In addition to jobs in factories, roughly 350,000 women joined the Armed Forces serving everywhere. The Women's Army Corps had full military status starting in 1943– which is featured on this vintage tee.
Our Patriotic Vintage Tee collection is in direct partnership and officially licensed with the U.S. Army®. This collection is filled with historical army graphics, war posters reimagined & patriotic looks for everyone! As always, our designs are created to give an authentic, vintage feel with a retro look that will make these novelty shirts feel like it's been in your closet for years. Perfect for everyday casual wear!
